Resumen
We're looking for an individual to join the Novartis Country Organization as a part of the patient safety operational team. You will be a pivotal part of our team, ensuring all processes comply with our global and local procedures, national, and international regulations/standards/guidelines. You will also be instrumental in driving the implementation of our Patient Safety (PS) strategy at the country level.
About the Role
In your role, you will:
- Be at the helm of certain operational vigilance process(es)
- Guide and mentor junior staff members within your network
- If applicable, act as the right-hand person for the Local Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance or Local PV Responsible Person
- Ensure that we're meeting all safety reporting, submission, and distributions requirements
- Collaborate closely with local and global medical safety functions
- Keep a vigilant eye on national pharmacovigilance regulations and provide necessary updates to our global PS team
- Be responsible for the execution and documentation of local PS-related RMP commitments.
We'll be assessing your performance on:
- The efficiency and quality of vigilance processes
- Country Organization AE reporting compliance
- The results of your self-assessments, audits, and inspections
- Internal and external customer satisfaction
Ideal candidates should:
- Hold a professional healthcare or life science degree (e.g., Medical Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacist)
- Be fluent in English and the local language
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in pharmacovigilance or a related field
- Possess excellent project management skills
- Be excellent communicators and negotiators
- Be quality-focused and results-oriented.
This pivotal role does not involve direct reports, and your decisions will align with our major accountabilities and OPM guidance.
