About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with management to deliver strategic insights through comprehensive business analysis and performance monitoring
- Lead financial planning processes including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and strategic planning initiatives
- Conduct risk and opportunity analyses, developing actionable recommendations for business optimization
- Drive investment decisions through robust financial analysis and business case development
- Monitor and evaluate business performance metrics, providing early warning signals for resource reallocation
- Validate commercial data integrity while offering recommendations for forecast accuracy improvement
- Optimize management reporting processes to meet evolving business needs
- LDC experience preferable
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial management and operations
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data visualization and insight generation
- Advanced proficiency in AI-driven analytics and process optimization
- Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders and manage ambiguity
- Excellence in critical thinking and rapid problem-solving capabilities
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and business value drivers
- Strong compliance awareness and control management skills
- Fluent in English with exceptional communication abilities

In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, childcare facilities, learning and development opportunities as well as worldwide career possibilities within the Novartis group. In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 38.038/year (on a full-time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
We are open for part-time and job-sharing models and support flexible and remote working where possible.
