About the role:
Excited about turning complex scientific jargon into engaging dialogues? Join us as a Scientific Communication Manager where your curiosity will bridge the gap between ground-breaking discoveries and the world. In this role you will be responsible for developing medical content to respond to medical inquiries bringing scientific accuracy and up-to-date practices that can shape brand-related scientific materials, aid in crafting communication strategies, and generate actionable insights from scientific inquiries, data, and research.
This role will work directly with the Medical Information Team and reports to the Medical Excellence & Operation Lead.
About the Role
Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating scientifically accurate and comprehensive medical content for our products, while ensuring a streamlined communication with healthcare professionals.
• Act as a key communicator and trainer to Medical Information associates, imparting product knowledge and providing scientific input for escalated inquiries.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal norms, identifying potential missteps and assisting with any technical complaints or adverse drug reactions.
• Act as the scientist reviewer for product materials, maintaining accuracy and balance, while also providing scientific interpretation to internal stakeholders.
• Utilizing scientific knowledge to drive innovation within therapeutic areas, contributing to strategic plans, maintaining thorough expertise, and reporting on crucial statistics and insights.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
• Pharmacy or Science degree with relevant experience in pharma environment (2 - 5 years of Pharma industry experience).
• Ability to strategically and critically evaluate and summarize medical literature and understand the clinical applicability of scientific information.
• Business acumen, strategic mindset and good understanding of pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, in English and in French
• Ability to interface effectively with a variety of technical platforms for the collection and dissemination of scientific information
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
Desirable:
• Advanced degree or equivalent in life science or healthcare discipline.
