Sommario

The Revenue Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Novartis NOCC R2R team by ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to Novartis divisions. This role involves maintaining robust processes, comprehensive documentation, and compliance with relevant standards, while also driving continuous improvement projects to optimize end-to-end processes across Novartis divisions. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, diligent, detail oriented and has a strong background in finance and accounting. Responsibilities include managing Revenue and Revenue Deductions, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing operational efficiency.

About the Role

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement and uphold robust safeguards and controls over the revenue process in alignment with the Financial Controls Framework.

  • Review and reconcile revenue deduction accruals and related accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Analyze and understand various business models to apply the correct accounting policies for revenue transactions.

  • Lead and participate in IT projects aimed at streamlining revenue transactions in SAP, improving efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to continually analyze requirements and gain a deep understanding of revenue transactions.

  • Conduct month-end and quarterly balance sheet review calls with the CFO and Financial Reporting & Accounting (FRA) Heads, focusing on revenue accruals and Gross-to-Net (G2N) movements.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all inquiries related to revenue within your assigned scope of responsibilities

What you’ll bring to the role:

University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance related fields

Fluent in English both written and spoken, excellent communication skills

Some years of relevant experience, with good functional exposure to Finance and Accounting organizations

• ACCA or Chartered Accountant Qualifications are preferred

SAP knowledge: experience with SAP FI and BI

Desirable requirements:
• ACCA certificaiton completed or in progress
